A Few of My Favorite Things

The Giraffe That Walked to Paris Raffle

A HUGE thank you to all who entered this raffle! I just entered the numbers at random.org and the winner is #33, Julie Banton! Congratulations, Julie!

Our enormous-big-gigantic bookcase is going away to make room for some bunk beds! That bookcase, lovingly built by my dad for my sister and I when we were kids, shelves 32 feet of books. That's a lot of books. I'm paring down the books.

Deciding what to keep and what to sell and what to giveaway is proving to be a challenge, but when I spied the elusive book, The Giraffe That Walked to Paris, used in the Five in a Row curriculum, I decided to sell. Or rather raffle it for our adoption.

It's in great condition, but it is x-library (with some stamps and such on the dust cover).

Here's the deal:

1. Use PayPal (adoption@dreniarb.com) to make your donation. (Hint: you don't have to have a PayPal account to do this; just look for the "don't have a PayPal account" option at the bottom left of the page.)

2. Leave a comment on this post or email me (ami <at> homeschoolshare {dot} com) to let me know you donated. I will assign you your number(s) for the raffle.

3. I will use random number generator to choose a winner next Tuesday, June 26th.

4. Entries:

                 $5 donation = 1 entry

                $10 donation = 3 entries

                $25 donation = 9 entries

After you donate, you can share via some social media outlet (blog, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) for 1 more entry. Just let me know once you do that.

Thanks, friends. Every little bit helps right now!
