The first day of Christmas

December 2, 2010 by Ami 3 Comments

My blog went without ANY posts last December, but this year I have high hopes. My aspiration is to post daily with our advent activities. Now, these ideas aren’t awe-inspiring or even original, but I want to log them to prove to myself that I can blog in December! In addition to these activities we are memorizing Luke 2:8-14 and reading through Bartholomew’s Passage.

Our first activity was Sculpey Holiday Ribbons. Make, bake, and hang. They are simple and nice and easy enough for even Simon (with a little help from mom). The boys are proud of all the Christmas ribbons hanging on their tree.

Happy ribbon ornament making!

Thanks for sharing the ribbon ornaments. Parker has been asking to make sculpey ornaments and I bet he will love this idea 🙂

This is a really cool idea! We were just talking about what kind of ornaments we were going to make this year. Thanks for sharing!
