My boys love LEGO, and when they were young I easily entice them to participate in LEGO school. We used Duplo and LEGO for various educational activities through the years. I’ve included some in the list below.
LEGO School Ideas
Counting with LEGO and Play-doh (preschool – kindergarten)
LEGO Unit Study and Lapbook (elementary)
LEGO Lapbook (our study in action)
LEGO Kindergarten KitĀ (preschool – kindergarten)
LEGO Building Club (co-op class)
Learning Perimeter and Area with LEGO

Thank you! Perfect!
I saw on your site somewhere about a prgram you used to make your lego instructions with the numbers on it. Can you please tell me again – can’t find it on here anymore.
Hi Nancy,
Do you think it might be the LEGO Digital Designer?

I’m not sure what else it could be. Hope that helps! š Ami
I added your link to my Learning with Legos post

Good alternative to the traditional Base-10 set!! Too bad we’re already past it now.
was the lap book you created with the lego learning one folder or two together? just wondered how big to make our lap book. Thanks!
We used a spiral notebook. I’d say two folders. š
Lego digital designer is correct. You build a model then click on building instructions and click on HID or something in the corner and click print I think and I think you can get your model sent to you but you have to be online to do that and you can move the brick around with arrow keys so it is sort of like minecraft!

Your Lego learning printables are amazing, Ami! Thanks so much for generously sharing them! I featured your Lego printables as the Free Printable(s) of the Day at the Living Montessori Now Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/LivingMontessoriNow (and on Pinterest).
This is fabulous! We will definitely be doing this soon! Thanks for sharing!
This was so cool! You asked that we not hotlink to the Lego link directly, so I shared a link to your blog on Facebook. If you prefer that I not do that, please shoot me an email & I'll remove it. I'm a "Jesus Freak," too, and while I found your blog because of the Legos, I was so excited to see you love our Lord. What a creative person you are.
Yes, you can definitely share a link to the post! Thank you!!
we are using your unit to celebrate the week before my 6 yr olds birthday and he and his 2 yr old brother are loving it. I just wanted to let you know that we found this animated story that fits perfect with your unit and wanted to let you know. Will be posting about our use of your unit soon.
