The second day of Christmas

December 2, 2010 by Ami 3 Comments

Today we made some gingerbread play-doh and read our favorite versions of The Gingerbread Boy. This stuff smells so yummy!  The boys were in the other room cutting cookies, making pizzas, and sculpting gingerbread snakes when I heard Elijah call to me. Look at what he made for me.

So sweet.

Happy gingerbread play-doh making!

    Ami…
Did you add the food coloring to this dough or is your color from the spices alone?

    Thanks
    Kim

    Hi Kim!

We added a little bit of Wilton brown. Just a little so that you can still see the spice flecks. It turned out really pretty (the picture doesn’t do it justice!). 🙂 Ami
