Acorn Angels

November 23, 2010 by Ami 5 Comments

So, I have a friend, Jenny (a really great friend), and her family is adopting from Ethiopia. Right now they have all their ducks in a row and are waiting for a match.

And, I have another friend, Brandy (another really great friend), and her daughter is friends with Jenny's daughter. They are really great friends.

Brandy's daughter, Ivy, created these cute dolls (which are also ornaments). She is determined to use the dolls to help Jenny's family with the cost of their adoption.

I helped Ivy set up an Etsy shop today. She is now selling her dolls, her Acorn Angels, there. These dolls are pretty sweet. Almost as sweet as Ivy herself. Each doll has its own name, an acorn hat, and comes with a scripture card.

So, I'm using my blog to advertise this because

1. I love both of these families. They are golden . . . God-given friends.
2. Ivy has an adorable product that people need to know about. Great stocking stuffers for your girls!
3. Ivy is giving the proceeds to help get some orphans HOME.
4. She named one of the dolls Ami. Well, this isn't really one of my reasons, but it does make me smile. 🙂
4. It all makes my heart very, very happy.

So, go check out Angel Acorns. Buy, give, and help get some children home . . . where they belong.

Please check out what other adoptive families are selling through this button~

Happy Shopping!

Can you tell a little more about the angels. They are really cute. What are the dresses made out of?

    Hi Corrie 🙂

Ivy’s grandma gave her a box of silk flowers, and she decided to use them for the dolls. 🙂 The skirts are made of the flowers and the tops are embroidery floss.

    🙂 Ami
