Would he still want to hold my hand?
Would he know what a proboscis is?
Would we have five chrysalises in our house?
Would I have the energy to read him chapter books each night after dinner, after housework, after homework?
Who would make Simon laugh?
Would Simon be learning so much?
Would I be learning so much?
Would he be hiding God’s Word in his heart?
Would we be hiding God’s Word in our hearts together?
I’m so thankful he’s here; it’s not always peachy-easy, but it’s a gift.
Ami, this is SO true. I love your entry today. I get sooooo sentimental about all these wonderful memories we are making with our children. I only hope that THEY look back as fondly as we are, LOL! Oh, and great garage sale finds! That is my kind of day!
