Maple Syrup!

March 9, 2012 by Ami 4 Comments

Maple Syrup Festival? Yes, please!

We visited LM Sugarbush, and we loved it!

Maple Syrup . . . the old-fashioned way.

Making maple sugar the old-old-fashioned way (putting hot rocks into a hollowed log with sap)!

Lots of stringed instruments making fun music together!

Sawing a log together.

We had a great sun-shiny day at the farm as we learned all about tapping trees and boiling down sap. We brought lots of delicious maple syrup home for waffles, pancakes, and baking treats! My kind of school day.

Yes! We went the weekend after you. We hope to go back next year. We really loved it, and I’ll need to restock on maple syrup by then.
