Microscope for Kids + Notebooking Pages

March 28, 2012 by Ami 9 Comments

Free Set of 28 Notebooking Pages for Learning about Microscopes from Walking by the Way

The boys received a microscope for kids for Christmas from their aunt, and they were immediately curious about all things microscope. As a result, we've spent a few weeks this semester learning about microscopes — using a microscope, preparing slides, scientists who used microscopes, microscopic life, etc.

One component of our study was reading The Usborne Complete Book of the Microscope.

Free Microscope Notebooking Pages from Walking by the Way

I created some notebooking pages to match this book, and you can download them by clicking on the image below. I will document more of our microscope study in tomorrow's post.

Wow, looks like fun! What kind of microscope do you recommend? If I got one, I would want a good quality one. But I don’t even know where to start looking. Just don’t want to purchase something junky.
    Thanks Ami!

SO very excited about these pages! I got a great deal on a microscope and I sell Usborne so I have this book. Like you I’m a bit intimidated but feel a little more comfortable now after this post and these pages. THANK YOU!
