Geography Fair ~ behind the scenes

January 18, 2012 by Ami 2 Comments

Geography Fair Preparation for England

Elijah's country choice this year was England.

I will share photos of the entire fair tomorrow, but today I will highlight some of Elijah's hard work.

Elijah labeling and coloring a large map of the United Kingdom.

Finished map!

The beginnings of a double-decker bus.

Elijah designed Big Ben from LEGO bricks.

Elijah starting to make holiday crackers. Lots and lots!

A few pages from Elijah's notebook. You can find the printables at Homeschool Share.

Elijah had the exciting opportunity to exchange letters with Matilda, a girl who lives in England. He included the letters in his notebook.

We didn't want Simon to be left out, so he included his Mr. Gumpy's Outing lapbook in the display.

He also helped make the cucumber sandwiches.
